• 0.6mm hardened nozzle

Background:

The pump I got from the garden store was surprisingly quiet. That is until I put it in the ceramic Persillade pot from Ikea. Then it would ring like a bell and annoy everyone.

I wanted to design something that would both keep the pump from rattling around and allow enough water through. I thought about designing something with lots of holes, but that was going to be so much working out how to make sure all the overhangs would work.

Then I remembered I could just...make a small shell, then print without perimeters and top/bottom layers. The gyroid inflow would keep it all together and provide a buffer from the bottom as well. 

I put it in and all the noise went away. The pump was back to silent.
