We use this style remote for most of our overhead cranes. One was dropped on the concrete floor and broke--they are not cheap to replace. We decided that a few dollars worth of TPU, some CAD, and several hours of print time was worth it save the rest from the same fate.

The model is printed in two pieces. The two halves are glued together when installed. Access to the battery cover is preserved. If more access the innards of the remote is required, the cover can be cut off and a new one printed.
