Summary

We use these so called "flow states" in our company office

The concept is simple:

If a developer is in his flow state, he turns the red flag upwards basically letting everybody in the room know not to disturb him and generally try to keep the volume of conversations at a minimum. This has greatly increased productivity and collaboration because everyone can easily signal his current state.

In this design I tried optimizing and consolidating all the different versions of this design out there.

By chamfering only the vertical edges I assured perfectly crisp edges with minimal warping, and a tight tolerance for the two pins ensuring the parallel movement of both flag halfs.

The plate is optional in case your monitors backplate curves too much for them to adhere properly.
