This thing is based off of an old Plexiglas holder that i loved because of it's ease of use and portability. However when it broke I couldn't find any replacement so I created this as a two piece replacement.

you will need to print two of these and glue the boss on the spacer end into the pocket on the opposite side of the second one. you will also need to cut a wooden dowel of piece of PVC to rest the spool on in the cradles built into the top inside of the prints.

The build volume of my printer is 220 mm-220 mm-210 mm. anything bigger would be better. I got a rough working pattern off of an old filament holder I received with my printer kit made from laser cut black Plexiglas.
