Summary
Adjustable wooden scythe nibs are pretty awesome, but they tend to strip/spit making them useless. Replacing the part in wood is a challenging woodworking project for a nerd like me.
This part is a replacement for the wooden handle. Slightly longer, slightly wider at the end. More comfortable, says I.

Notes:
This part will experience high strain and care should be given to print settings for high strength.
Foremost, on filament printers this part should be printed standing vertically to benefit from higher hoop strength. Weakness between layers isn't a big problem for this part which operates in compression.
Due to high compressive force this part should be printed with higher infill ratios. This part comprises part of a clamping mechanism and bears the full clamping force. 40% seems to work for me in PLA.
