Summary
NOTE: Warning - failed. Revamping soon
Adapts the your solar powered path lights to 1/2" rebar.
I have two large Labs. Every time they come running around the house they take out a couple of the path lights along our walkway. It is therefore rare that any of our light are vertical. I tried affixing a solid deeper stake under them but then instead of knocking them over or leaving them at an angle, they broke or bent them in half.
This solves the issue by being able to take a blow and then return to the original position. I sank 2 feet of 1/2 rebar into the ground for a really sturdy base to connect the adapter to.
I have only put two out in heavy traffic areas. I'll update this after a few weeks in operation.
Update 2020-02-09 - Tested it today and the design is flawed. The spring is not rigid enough in its current configuration to hold the light at designed origin. Going to increase the diameter of bar and ball joint in order to constrain movement of spring for next test.

Notes:
The two parts should be printed in the orientation the stl has (which should match the rendered versions from thingiverse).
I use a raft because the LightAdapterBody will likely end up moving and miss printing by the top layers due to the object height and small build surface connection.
Likewise, set support generation in your slicer. This should only add some extra support on the LightAdapterB
Assembly
Hardware
- 1/2 Rebar. I bought large lengths and cut into 2' sections
- 3" x 1-1/8" Compression Spring with .105" diameter
- Path lights
Steps
- Drive rebar into desired location
- push RebarAdapterBody onto exposed rebar
- Push spring onto RebarAdapterBody. May have to twist a little to get on the way in
- Push ball of LightAdapterBody into socket of RebarAdapterBody and push/scrunch/twist spring into to section
- Push path light onto LightAdapterBody since the model was designed to minimize support material generation
