Long story short, for a long time I've had issues with the mini usb cable just slipping out from my microphone. I really like the Blue Yeti, it sounds good, and it works. So I don't see this is a “time to buy a new mic” flaw. For probably a year plus, I've held it down with a series of rubber bands, and they just look gross. This remix adds two holes to the original to allow a pressure-fit clamp…? clip…? Thing, to hold the usb cable in place and not let it come out.
Please note, this clip fits very tightly into the collar. Like very tightly. If you plan on removing your usb cable frequently, you might want to modify this clip and give it a little wiggle room. Additionally, I designed this hold-down piece to fit a specific 10ft mini usb cable. If the connector on your cable is different, you might have to edit the .stl file to better suit it.
