🧩 Abalone Board Game - 3D Printable Set (16mm Marble Edition)

Abalone is a classic and fascinating 2-player strategy game.

This model allows you to print your own fully functional Abalone set, designed for 16mm marbles. You'll need two sets of 14 marbles in contrasting colors (e.g. black and white).

📦 Included files:

- abalone_board_16.stl — The main hexagonal playing surface.

- abalone_surround_16.stl — A ring that lifts the board and prevents marbles from rolling away.

- abalone_lid_16.stl — An optional lid for neat storage.

- (Optional alternative): If the surround is too large for your printer, print 6 × abalone_edge_16.stl - these snap together to form the same hex ring.

🛠 Assembly & Printing Tips

- The board fits into the surround via gravity.

- For a more permanent build, a thin bead of superglue inside the groove works well.

- Print all parts in the provided orientation. No supports required.

- Recommended: many perimeters/walls, infill is not critical.

- I printed mine in affordable PLA+ - it looks great and works perfectly!
