My update to the filter system for the rat rig v-core 4. I found the original a bit lacking in both design and function. As other remixes have pointed out, it's quite difficult to get replacement filters in North America. Looks like there is a great vendor for the filters in Europe, but shipping is quite expensive and I had trouble locating the same size hepa13 filter. I picked a couple readily accessible filters on Amazon to use for this update:

More importantly here though is mounting system for this update. When going the smaller route, it's a perfect fit for 2 of these units (I have the big v-core 4) on the back panel and they will exhaust clean air into the printer workspace. I'll also upload an additional design that I realized after getting all this installed. I broke up the back panel (actually all panels) in my build into 2 pieces so I can easily source the parts at Send Cut Send, but this install still required me to unmount the back electronics enclosure, which is a giant pain in the ass. I've updated the panel design to allow for the upper panel to be removed at any time without having to unmount the electronics box, which I can imagine would be quite helpful.

I printed the cage as 2 parts, the inner body which seats in the back panel and locks the main body into place, but it's conceivable that it could be printed as a single part of one wanted, would just need a large support structure.

Important to note - all the models had to be changed from the stock setup. It may or may not be 100% compatible with the existing blower cage and filter cover, not sure as I printed everything here.
