Summary
The original cell batteries in my Zigbee switches kept dying after a month or two and I wanted something that would last a bit longer, (and be safer for small kids to be around) I couldn't find what I needed so I found and modified the switch cover plate by Cs75 and modified it into this new backplate that accepts two AAA batteries instead of the cell type it originally used, I also added some routing lanes for the wiring and some drop in slots for spring type battery terminals, and made some small changes to refine the fitment when printed at higher speeds
I tried to make it as thin as possible without making it too cramped inside to allow for easy wiring, standard AAA batteries and standard spring type battery terminals, (I salvaged mine from an old dead TV remote)
(excuse my terrible soldering and wiring, I just used what I had lying around, and my soldering iron is literal hot garbage)
Depth without switch: 12.8mm
Depth with switch is: 24.1mm
While it is a little thick, that's as far as I could go without making modifications to the switch itself, and I planned to mount mine next to the door frame anyways, and it still doesn't stick out as much as the regular frame mounted switches in my house already do.
If you're not keen on soldering to the battery pad and terminals like I have, I have also included a cell button adapter that you can feed your stripped wires up and over the hump and back through the protected channel and then twist them off, it's not perfect, but it worked for me, I used it for well over a year until I made this new wall plate and soldered it, I do recommend printing the adapter at a decently high quality so the holes don't close up while printing.
(note: small fixes have been made to the STL after these photos where taken, just to round off some edges to help things lock and align together properly)

I used a 4 wall count and 4 top & 4 bottom layers for rigidity and to strengthen the smaller vertical parts and screw holes.
Print speed: 80.0mm/s and 40mm/s wall speed,
Temps: 200c, on a 50c build plate.
At these settings it took about 3 and a half hours to print and there was very little clean up.
