After knocking my beer off one too many times, I resolved to make a cup holder that would make it harder for me to knock a 12 oz. bottle or a pint glass off the wooden arm of my downstairs chair.

The cup holder is designed to be screwed down to a horizontal surface. So far, it seems to work as intended.
