I designed these hex nut shells because I wanted to create begleri that have good ergonomics and weight. The weight comes from the nuts, and the ergonomics from 3D printing. They are meant to be used 2 on each sides of the string. The design is inspired by the Aroundsquare Hydras.

There are two versions ready for download:

• M6: suitable for holding an M6 UNI5588 nut. External dimensions: Ø14x7 per bead. Weight: 2,84g.
• M8: suitable for holding an M8 UNI5588 nut. External dimensions: Ø16x8 per bead. Weight: 5,45g.

Both have 4mm inner hole, suitable for Paracord 550 or 275.

Printing Instructions
To create the item, you need to insert a pause in your slicer. Here’s a brief guide on how to do this:

1. Set layer thickness to 0.2mm and infill to 100%.
2. After processing the .stp file, go to the preview and identify the last layer that leaves the nut cavity completely open (it's important that this is the last layer; otherwise, you risk the extruder interfering with the nut).
3. In Pusaslicer, right-click on the (+) symbol and insert the G-code for the pause (if you don't know how to do this, check this link and get my code).
   
4. Save and start printing.
5. During printing, when you reach the pause input, you need to place the nut into the cavity (make sure it goes all the way in; otherwise, you risk the extruder touching it) and then continue the print.
