This is a simple case for the Nibble Zero. It features compliant covers for the 6 side buttons, as well as the boot and reset switches. A cutout is provided for an antenna, as well as for the side GPIO to connect to a flipper. It was designed in SOLVESPACE, and the design files are provided to allow for easy modification.
Printing Notes: This model was designed to be printed with 0.2mm layer heights. If increasing the layer height for faster printing, be advised that top of the side buttons may touch the case and will need to be freed before using. No supports are necessary to print either the case or the lid, but can be used to prevent sagging at the top of the GPIO slot. Due to the orientation of the compliant buttons on the side, I would also advise against using materials with poor layer adhesion (e.g. PLA Matte, PLA Silk) as it makes it more likely that the buttons will break.
Installation: Print both the lid and case models. Orient the Nibble Zero with the screen towards the cutout at the bottom the the case, and ensure that the ears of the PCB are aligned with the case. Insert the Nibble Zero, ensuring that it is pushed completely into the case. If installing with the headers attached, angle the Nibble to insert the headers through the slot first, then push down on the opposite side to seat it. Finally, place the lid on top, pressing it into place so that the lid is flush with the case.
Note: The lid is designed to be removable. Depending on printer tolerances the lid might be tighter or looser. For long term assembly, I recommend using your favorite adhesive to securely attach the lid to the case.
