About laptop stands
I have a 16.2-inch Apple Inc. MacBook, which is 16.8 mm thick.
I set the slot width to 18 mm, and the result was just right. The laptop can easily slide in and out without getting stuck.
It was originally designed to place laptops horizontally, with the screen facing upwards. However, the 7-millimeter legs can actually support laptops even in a vertical position. That said, I don't recommend using it that way, because the rubber feet, with a width of 18 millimeters, aren't enough to store the laptop vertically comfortably. They add extra thickness, and the laptop can easily get stuck in the slot.
I also added two magnet holes, so you can combine multiple stands together. I want a set of three: one for a laptop, one for a tablet, and one for an e-reader. With the magnets, they will stay in place.ClickThey all gathered together in an instant.
In my original version, there were magnet holes on both sides, but I later realized that it was unnecessary, so the uploaded 3D model only has magnet holes on one side. On the other side, I made the corners rounded to make it look more aesthetically pleasing.
About the version
The width of the laptop version is 90 mm, but it turned out to be wider than necessary. I made another version with a width of 60 mm, and it didn't lose any stability.
So choose the version you want to print. There are four versions in the print configuration:
- 90 × 90 millimeters— Wide-screen laptop version
- 60 × 90 mm— Narrow-body laptop version
- 60 × 90 mm— Tablet version
- 60 × 60 millimeters— E-reader version
I've described all these versions in the printable configuration instructions.
Print settings
Feel free to try out the settings. My model was printed using the standard intensity preset40°Support, because I was worried that the two crossbars might sag, but in fact, the printing effect is very good.
Please ignore the small flaws and slightly curled corners in the photos—that's because my printer had some issues and messed up the model.

Regarding the laptop stand:

Another one is for tablets.

With the magnets, they "click" together and stick together.
In fact, in my version, I made holes on both sides, but later found that it was unnecessary, so the 3D model I uploaded only has magnetic holes on one side. On the other side, I made rounded corners to make it look more beautiful.
All in all:
The laptop version is 90 mm wide, but it turned out to be too wide. I made another bracket with a width of 60 mm, and its stability didn't decrease at all.
In short, you can decide which one to print. There are four versions in the print configuration:
- A wide oneFor laptops,

- There is also one for e-booksHowever, its stand is lower in height, and the stand itself is slightly narrower. I've written all the details in the instructions for the printing configuration.
As for the settings, you can adjust them as you please. My model was printed using a standard strength templateLineFill it in. The inside isGrid40I used a support structure because I was worried that the two crossbars might sag. But the final print turned out very well. Please ignore the scratches on the model and the slightly bent corners. That was because there was a problem with my printer, which messed up the model.
