Jump into the exciting world of Pickleball (invented on Bambridge Island, just outside of Seattle, several decades ago) which is sweeping the world due to its exciting play, easy scoring and fast action. This model allows you to print a pickelball racket in-place on one plate on your Bambu Lab H2D, or similarly large 3D printer. With the H2D you can also add in custom logos and combine them with the hitting surface model as an assembly to enable multi-color printing. Our sample images show how this was done. We used ABS-GF for both the handle and hitting surface, but you can use any filament you think would be strong.
After printing, attach the two handle piece together using Cyanoacrylate glue (Crazy Glue, Loctite Super Glue or similar) and allow it to cure for a few minutes. Then, apply glue to the where the handle and hitting surface will meet. Then, using a rubber mallet, position the handle into the hitting surface cut-out region and bang it into place. It's a tight fit, on purpose. But, it will fit if you used an H2D.
