Customizable Bottle Cap

This customizable bottle cap is designed for 18L water bottles, but can be easily adapted to fit different sizes. It's made to be printed in PETG or PLA with no support and no AMS, making it a fast, simple, and clean DIY project. The cap is portable, lightweight, and dust-resistant, ensuring your bottle stays sealed and clean.

As shown in the photos, there is a hole where you can insert a string or cord (like the one in the picture) to tie the cap to the bottle, if desired. This ensures you won’t lose the cap!

Customizing the Model

The .SCAD file allows you to easily personalize the cap. Simply input the inner diameter of the bottle neck, and the model will automatically adjust the parameters for a perfect fit. However, if your bottle is much smaller or larger than standard, you will need to adjust the cap's height. Additionally, if you choose to include the hole for the string, you can modify both its diameter and position.

Note

To keep the .SCAD file simple, I haven't included automatic edge rounding. Please note that the edges might be slightly sharp. Once you customize the model, you can use Blender or any other 3D modeling tool to refine the edges if necessary.
