Description
This model is suitable for printing in the "spiral vase" mode, which can print a seamless wall in a continuous motion. The radius of the model is about 53 mm, and you can enlarge or reduce it as needed.
Due to the many facets, it looks particularly beautiful in materials like shiny silk and copper.
This is created by doing some calculations, then drawing polygons from scratch in Blender and repeating them. Models of different sizes are simply made by creating a very long model and then cutting it into parts of different lengths.
If you want to use it as a planter or other container for holding liquids, you should coat the inside with a waterproof material such as epoxy resin. It's hard to create 3D printed items that are inherently waterproof. Even if it seems successful at first, you might find a puddle of water after a while, with no clue as to where the leak is...

How to print this model
In PrusaSlicer and Slic3r, it is called the "Spiral Vase" mode, and it has different names in different slicing programs: Cura calls it "Spiralized Outline"
When printing with a 0.4 mm nozzle, I usually increase the outer width to 0.6 mm to achieve better results. Generally, you should use 3/2 of the nozzle diameter.
You can also print without using the spiral mode by setting the infill rate to 0% and using no top layers. This allows you to use more shell layers to increase strength, but it will result in visible seams unless you enable random contour starting points in the slicing program.
For smaller prints, using the spiral vase mode and a layer height of 0.1 mm can result in a very smooth surface. For larger sizes, a layer height of 0.2 mm is a good choice
I provide models of different heights. You can create models of any height by cutting a section of the required length from the tallest model. Some slicing programs, such as PrusaSlicer, can do this directly.
