I found a really cool set of cable protectors(https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:742415) but the lighting end broke when I grabbed it once. I added some strengthening bits to it to help mitigate/prevent. Sadly, the submitter has it set to 'no remixes', which is a bit strange. In either case, here is an improved design.
