This is a medical type device used to put over a colostomy. This is a temporary cap and designed for "innie" type colostomies, not for the type that protrude out of the skin.

I am using standard foam mounting tape as I discovered it does stick well to my skin. Use at your own risk! Everyone will have different things that they are allergic to and I caution you to attempt to see if the adhesive will harm you by first trying a small piece attached to the back of the hand for a while. I've found the tape will stick to me for about a day.

I place a long strip at the bottom, then two strips along the sides, then fill in the top. You want to try to get the strips as close as possible to each other. You might leave a little gap in the top strip if you're not too concerned with the smell of the venting.
