Recommend printing PETG since its a functional part and you don't want it to risk cracking

Print face down so its a nice flat

I added a modifier to use a different colour in slicer, you might like to do similar, or implement a design

also if you've got a IR laser then PETG takes a etching well, so you could laser a more detailed design into it
