A minimalist display and protective case for the Zeromouse Blade, designed to keep your mouse secure while showcasing its internals through a clear viewing window.
Reuse the original foam from the mouse packaging: press it into the base to mark the outline, trim to fit, and place it inside for a snug cradle.
Print both halves of the case upside down no supports for the best surface quality on visible faces. My version was printed in matte black PLA with slower outer wall speeds on the fillets and no ironing on the top surface.
Use eight 6 × 4 mm magnets (press-fit). These are thicker than the common 6 × 3 mm magnets, providing a firmer hold so the case is unlikely to come apart if dropped.
For the viewing window, I recommend outsourcing to JLC3DP (8001 clear resin with oil finish), or use the included windowless version with the engraving.
