A nice star to go on top of your christmas tree. Gold paper makes it really shiny!
Assembly instructions:
Print the star halves on your 3D printer
Screw both sides together with two M3x6 countersunk screws
Use a plain old 2D printer to print the cutout template - make sure that you don't rescale it
Use the template to cut gold paper to size and glue it onto the star
Print settings: I've used PLA with 0.2mm layer thickness. You can get away with whatever fast settings you like.
If you don't have the right screws, you can probably just glue both halves together. If you have longer M3 screws, you can use them for exactly aligning the sides while gluing.
