Klikring

This page includes the Klikring (a fully 3D printed keyring that opens and closes with a click mechanism), an easily customizable OpenSCAD file for a keychain tag, and a demo model of what you can make with the parameters. 

Customization

To customize, you will need OpenSCAD. Once the file is opened up, its a simple matter of adjusting the variables at the top to suit your needs.

Printing Instructions

• (for the ring) Make sure to use a layer height of 0.16mm!
• The model has only been tested to be working printed as this resolution. Higher or lower may work, but no guarantees.
• PLA is what was used for the ring in the video. Probably a better idea to use something stronger like PETG.
• If you have a lighter filament like the blue one in the video, there is no need for multicolor/filament swap to highlight the text, going over with a marker works just fine

As seen in the video, simply slot the ring into the clasp and then rotate it into the small slots.
