The original model I based this on was just about right for my purposes - a slimline 75x75 (and 100x100) VESA mount for a Raspberry Pi that allowed me to neatly hide it behind a touchscreen monitor that I was using to build a noticeboard for HomeAssistant.
However, when I came to need to replace the SD card, I found it really difficult to get at, needing me to dismantle the VESA mount to get the screen off the wall. So I wondered if I could modify it to make the cradle removable from the VESA section without needing to get tools in there, and this was the result.
I printed this in PLA and it seems to work well. The cradle needs to be printed with some supports on the baseplate, so enable these when slicing. A little cleaning up is therefore needed after printing but the parts seem to fit together well.
The cradle uses the standard 2.5mm holes for the Pi, so you'll need some mounting screws for that. The VESA bracket has through-holes that should allow standard VESA screws to pass through.
To attach the cradle to the mount, align the clip and locating pins and push together. To remove, gently pull the lever towards the Pi to release the catch and slide the cradle out of the mount. I'm not sure the lever is the strongest thing in the world because of the orientation of the layers, but just really don't need to use much force.
The cradle seems to hold well in the VESA mount so should not fall out, but test how secure yours is after your print!
