Summary
This stylish pendant is made up of two separate pieces permitting production in contrasting colors. The inner piece is trapped and cannot be inserted or removed.
Instructions
Although not as finicky as its predecessor, the start/stop printing of the outer pendant is prone to extrusion failure, at least with a replicator 2 so that is something to be on the lookout for.
Both parts were printed at 0.3mm layer height, 2 shells, no fill with a raft. No supports are needed. Print the core object first, then the shell. Once the shell has printed high enough to accommodate the core laid inside it, do so. I didn't even have to pause the printer. Make sure the main part of the core is inside the shell with the hole-pierced end sticking out. When the print is complete the core can be manipulated while holding the entire pendant upside down so that the hole-pierced end comes through the central hole in the shell. It can then be threaded and hung.
