Summary
Wanted to replace the 3 broken light bulbs in the heating system of my sons his Peugeot 206+. By dismounting the system, due to the rigid stainless steel cable to regulate the temperature of the heating, the regulation arm broke at the end. So I tried to repair with some metal and glue the broken part. But trying to reinstall it in the car the small retainer part broke again. So I decided to reverse engineer the part in Fusion 360.

Printed in PLA first, I thought that it can be really hot in the car during summer. So I re-printed it in ABS so that it would resist better to hot temperatures. We will see this summer if this part survives :-). Otherwise PETG could be also a better solution than PLA.
Printer at 40mm/s so to have a nice gear profile.

Printed first on a Creality CR10S for PLA, but due to the fact that it would be better in ABS, I switched to the Flashforge Creator because it is totally closed and better for ABS printing.
Post-Printing
Remove Stringing in the Gear
Some reword was demanded for the ABS part (Stringing in the gear). Check the small hole for the stainless steel cable.
How I Designed This
As a beginner I use Fusion 360
The advantage using Fusion 360, there are plenty of tutorial on the web. It's free with a student license. Very power full and easy to use.
