The stud should press fit in to the M.2 M2x3 retaining screw socket to hold an M.2 SSD in place. You can turn it as you press with your finger to get the socket thread to bite on to the stud shaft. It works fine with PLA but should work even better with softer materials like TPU.

Print at around 0.10mm wth 100% infill and a brim. Ideally slow the print speed down, but your results may vary.

The model was created in OnShape and can be found here. (I realized I had not made the link Exportable so I have done that now - not sure if that makes much difference to anyone)

The included 3mf file should have the settings pre-configured.
