I can tell you one place that cutlery should not go and that is down the sink!

This grate allows water and small food bits to continue to flow down the sink while preventing cutlery and “big” food from gunking up the system.

Fits great in my InSinkErator brand garburator. This grate is 85.6mm / 3.37 inches in diameter.
