LED tape light strip - available at any hardware store or Amazon. I used an RGB strip with a remote so I can change the colors and brightness

1 piece of 8x10 inch acrylic plastic or glass sheet for front cover - Not required, but helps keep space between the layers clean and dust-free. You will have to cut to size. Plastic sheet can be cut using straight edge and utility knife. Glass sheet will require straight edge, machine or glass oil, and glass cutter.

Step 1: Place Shadowbox Frame - Part face down on a flat, solid surface
Step 2: Insert cut piece of acrylic plastic or glass (if desired)
Step 3: Insert Firefly Asset 1 with top printed surface face down
Step 4: Insert Firefly Asset Insert (face orientation does not matter)
Step 5: Repeat steps 3 and 4 inserting Firefly Assets 2, 3, 4, and 5 in that order (making sure all top printed layers are face down for proper alignment)
Step 6: Use rubbing alcohol to clean exposed edge of Shadowbox Frame - Part behind top-most insert
Step 7: Install LED tape light, feeding power cable through supplied notch at the bottom of the frame
Step 8: Insert Shadowbox Frame - Back, feeding power cable through supplied notch at bottom of part
Step 9: Hang on wall or display on shelf and enjoy!

Design is based on a paper version I purchased of Etsy 2 years ago. The paper version did not turn out very well since I did not have a paper cutter. Recently thought about making a 3D printed version using my Bambu Labs A1.

Used the supplied SVG file from the paper-cut version to make the individual asset layers in Blender, also creating the spacer insert using Blender, saving each file as a separate STL.

I used FreeCAD to design the Shadowbox frame and back insert. Having never used FeeCAD before, it was a learning process, so please forgive any simplicity to the design.
