Summary
3D Printed Singing Scary Pumpkin
8/9/2023 - Version 1
Continuing on with making props, I present a singing pumpkin that is kind of scary (or mad). It is designed like all the other props.
I don't plan on printing this for myself. I'm making these designs available for others to give back to the community that I have benefited from over the years.
If you do print this, I would be very interested in seeing your work and any suggestions for improvements. While I have looked at the pieces and ensured they fit on a
printer, I can't promise there isn't any errors. Please let me know if there is and I will correct as quickly as I can.
Description:
This is essentially a remake of the "Singing Pumpkin". You can print the Singing Pumpkin, leaving out the eyes. Print the new eyes and the nose for the scary pumpkin.
You shouldn't need to print the entire pumpkin again.
There are only 3 pieces to print: the left eye, right eye and nose.
Please follow printing suggestions found in the Singing Pumpkin readme.
It holds 166 pixels.
XLights:
There is an Xlights custom model provided for this prop. Faces and Submodels are defined.
This is different than the model that comes with the Singing Pumpkin to accomodate the new eyes and nose. The changes in wiring occurs after the 103rd pixel.
You won't have to pull out the first 103 pixels to rewire for this face!
Update:
9/21/2024 - An improved/correct xmodel has been uploaded. This was provided by Alex Smithing. The correct number of pixels and accurate submodels have been created.
8/24/2025 - Removed the Alex Smithing model as it was for the wrong prop. Corrected the XModel that goes with this prop as a pixel was entered as 95 twice and wasn't drawing correctly in XLights.
