Part of a Senior Capstone design project to make a low cost Braille display.

This is an early prototype of the control mechanism, but still useful to demonstrate the idea, or play with.

Files are 1:1 for standard Braille, but this is very difficult to print.
Jumbo Braille is 1.3:1 and prints ok.
2:1 prints very well, but is not a standard Braille size.

Print with the holes down (inverted) for best results.

Holes may require reaming with a drill bit to get them to the right size.

Pins tend to be a bit too wide on the first layer, so slicing off a small chunk from two opposing sides makes them fit better.
