This is a mounting plate to install the E3D Hermes / Hemera direct extruder kit from E3D on the Ender 3 or compatible Ender 3 Pro printer.

This model features some cable management facilities and an option to add a bed levelling probe. A BLTouch adapter is available for this mounting plate, courtesy of nimrodxv230.

Using an E3D V6 nozzle you will loose 20 mm on the Y axis with this upgrade. You will have to either add this offset on your firmware or, if you want to recover these 20 mm, you could move the Y-axis aluminium profile by 20 mm. This will require from you to drill and thread in new fixation holes.

On my setup I passed the cables to the front of the 3D printer using a custom made x-limit switch and filament run-out bracket. On the posted photographs you can see a fan duct from James Tongue. Note that I have slightly modified this fan duct mount plate in order to facilitate this installation. You can download the adjustment at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4176741.

Currently I am custom built firmware using SKR min 1.2 board from
Bigtreetech. You can check my built configuration on GitHub if you have a similar setup.
