Do you have a RIDGID 4 Gal. 5.0 Peak HP Portable Shop Vac with a 1.75 inch hose, like in the picture?  

Did your wife throw away the little car nozzle attachment by mistake, and then try to convince you that you never had the attachment at all, and that you imagined it?  If so, please consider this replacement part I made.  It's not an exact copy by any means, but it fits the 1.75" hose, and it works well when I tested it.

I printed in PETG, and it's a little snug, so I included the .F3D file in case you need to offset the cylinder like 0.003" in either direction to fit your particular hose.  

The PETG model seems very sturdy, but ABS would probably be better.
