How to make the seeds/fat mixture.

Fill the feeder with seeds, crushed nuts, old bread crumbs, or a mixture of them. Speared over the howl area of the feeder. Don't overflow the bird feeder, stay about 5 mm below the rim.

Melt the fat (fryer fat, lard, coconut fat) in a pan, about 125 grams. When its almost completely molten, remove the heat. Let it cool until the fat starts to solidify.

Scoop the liquid fat onto the seeds, cover the howl area, gently until the liquid starts to show between the seeds. Let it cool down for 30 minutes.

Hang on a wall, when empty you can refill.

Tip: save your leftover bread, let it harden, en crumble it into the mix.
