A model to mount an Omron D2F-5 or similar microswitch on an E3D Revo hotend.

The mount is clamped between the nozzle and HeaterCore, with intended use the occasional creation of high quality bed meshes. Due to the limited space around the nozzle, it is not very convenient to add and remove.

The mount is designed to have zero X and Y nozzle offsets (verify for your switch to be certain), while the z-offset needs to be calibrated as always.

Tested on a DragonBurner toolhead, printed in ESun ABS+ with 0.16 mm layer height. Print orientation as in the provided STL.

BOM:

• Omron D2F-5 microswitch (other similar should also work but verify XY offset)

• Two (2) self-taper 2 mm screws

• Wire and appropriate connector for your printer

• Soldering equipment
