This is a quick test I made to check the effect of overlapping two colors.

The test consists of a large 5-story rectangle and four smaller rectangles inside it.

• The first rectangle is printed using only one type of consumable material, AMS slot 1.
• The second rectangle is printed using one layer of consumables in AMS slots 2, 3 or 4 and four layers of consumables in slot 1.
• The third rectangle is printed using two layers of consumables in AMS slots 2, 3 or 4 and three layers of consumables in slot 1.
• The fourth rectangle is printed using three layers of consumables in AMS slots 2, 3 or 4 and two layers of consumables in slot 1.

This test superimposes two colors on different layers so that you can check the final color. It is hoped that by using this combination instead of other specific color changes

The test for just two colors can be completed in about 15 minutes and with a sample size of 3 grams.

If you are using AMS, you can also use the material rolls in test slots 2, 3 and 4 and the material roll in slot 1 as the base for the superimposed version. This will take about 30 minutes and consume a total of less than 8 grams of consumables.
