The purpose of this cube is to demonstrate how ionic bonds interact. The cube has holes for 5x2 press fit magnets. Make some cubes with north facing out and some with south facing out and color code them you can easily get a helpful chemistry demo or just a very fun fidget. I used some super glue but I do not think it is necessary. To press fit magnets a pair of pliers or a vice will help. I spray painted mine but if you use two different filament colors this would not be necessary. I used petg but pla or other filaments would work.
