Summary
This is a mount for an LED that holds an Adafruit 12-neopixel ring, and below that an ESP32-S3-Mini development board that I found on Aliexpress (which is one of the smallest ESP development boards I could find with an integrated 2.4ghz wifi antenna.

Print the base and the dome separately (I recommend using a support for the dome). The ESP32 board should be mounted upside down with the USB-C port facing the cutout. The ring can be placed above the board. There's enough space to solder the three 5VDC, Ground and Data wires from the LED ring to the ESP board. The neopixel ring can be powered directly from the ESP32's 5V pin.
I used white PLA for a smooth, diffuse gradient. Clear/translucent filament will be much brighter.
I got good results sanding the dome to remove layer lines.
The ESP chip runs pretty hot. I can run this without any venting, and it's generally fine, but I did make a version that has a hole at the top of the dome (immediately above the ESP32 board) to allow for some heat dissipation, which does keep the temp down.

The base can be printed without any supports.
The dome needs a ~25% overhang support, as the middle/top gets a bit iffy. I was able to print it without a brim.
