Have you ever needed to run your vacuum cleaner over a surface, but found that while none of the attachments quite fit the bill using it without can be a nuisance? That's the situation for which I designed this part.

It fits onto the end of the hose and simply creates a small stand-off from the surface, so that it's easy to suck up dust and small bits and pieces. It's especially useful in workshops and kitchens.

Here are a generic model and, more importantly, a FreeCAD file for an attachment to the end of a vacuum cleaner hose.

The included model fits a 35mm hose and provides a 4mm stand-off with five fingers, with an aperture of 30mm. All of these parameters can be altered in the FreeCAD file through the Spreadsheet therein.

I would like to offer this part as an OpenSCAD script, but I don't currently know how to do that. Assistance would be welcome.
