This is a vibration damper foot printed in ninjaflex or any other flexible filament.
It is primarily designed for the Felix printer, but should be useful for any other that uses 40x40 profile for its frame.
For the Felix, print out three of these feet and insert into the profile slots
A couple of screen shots from simple vibration analysis app on the iPhone showing vibration directly measured on machine, and vibration measured right next to the foot on the table, theres a marked reduction in vibration in the scale values .002g (direct) and .0004g (table) which is showing that the vibration is not being transmitted through feet to the table (you will need to click on the picture zoom to see scales) Feet used on this test were printed at 75%
Instructions
Use a higher fill density to make it more rigid = more vibration
Use a low Fill density to make it less rigid = less vibration but more bounce :)
Current Print Settings Simplify with E3DV6 Head but may change
Temp: 260Degc
Retraction: None
Speed: 15mm/Sec or 900mm/Min
Infill: 25-75% (25% as shown in the photos) 75% is what I did my test on and seems to work pretty good.
