I rotated the position of the female USB connector such that it is pointing forward rather than to the right. It uses the same 8" USB extender linked on Amazon.com. I didn't have color matching filament so the item pictured is plain white however the model has dividing lines to make it easy to paint in your slicer to match the two tones of the U1 filament feeder. The hole size on this mount are designed for M4 screws. The USB extender that comes from Amazon.com has threaded holes and I had to drill them out with a 4.2mm drill bit so that I could feed M4 screws from the front through the USB Connector flange and screw them into this mount. Also a hint for easy installation, you do not need to unload your filaments from tool heads 3 & 4 and disconnect ptfe tubes in order to add this mount. Simply unlatch the feeder (press on the latch on the bottom side towards the front and slide the feeder forward) and disconnect the ribbon cable very carefully then you can slide this USB Extender mount onto your filament feeder from the back side, reconnect the ribbon cable and reattach the filament feed to the right side of your U1.
