Case for OV2640/OV5640 with or without ESP32S3-CAM board. This case is designed for cameras with flanges on the base and 14MM adjustable lenses on the front. The bottom of this case can be used to hold a camera with a long flex circuit with the ESP32S3-CAM board mounted elsewhere. This is required for an OV5640 camera which runs too hot without a heatsink. An OV2640 can be mounted inside the box with the ESP32S3-CAM board, as it is not too hot. A small piece of 1.5MM thick double-sided tape with one side adhesive not exposed separates the camera from the SD card connector and helps position the assembly.
There are two tops to fit the case, one will hold the camera and ESP32S3-CAM board in with its long sides pressing on the connector pins on the back of the board. The other top can be used to hold the ESP32S3-CAM together with the USB board inside the case. Tape outside the case can be used to hold the top and bottom together securely.
