Summary

My Garmin Satnav suction cup would not co-operate anymore after 15 years of true hard work so made a generic stand to go on a dashboard of the VW Caddy 2022 I'm using. Due to the angle and the ball at the end, any dashboard would do.

despite the mounting holes, I used double double sided sticky tape which holds my Garmin Nuvi 40, not sure if it would survive a blistering summers day behind the windscreen but we'll find out in the Scottish summer.
