Due to the Ender 5 Plus being equipped with independent Z-axis screws, it's very easy for the screws to become desynchronized. Simply disassembling a component can cause the print bed to shift, leading to synchronization issues. If you're like me and don't enable the automatic leveling function every time you print, this problem is likely to cause print interruptions or even equipment malfunctions. With these indicators, you can quickly and intuitively determine whether the screws are still synchronized. After installation, simply adjust them before powering on the printer, and you can easily achieve

This kit includes four 3D printing files: the base is available in two sizes, single piece and paired, and the pointer also comes in two options, single piece and paired. It is recommended to print in high-quality mode. The pointer installed on the coupling should ensure that the wall thickness is sufficient to make the connection belt structure stable. I chose PLA material, and it has been working well so far.

This kit requires the use of six M3×10 self-tapping screws. Personally, I don't think it's necessary to pre-taper the screw holes on the pointer, but it's best to try inserting the screws into the screw holes before installation to ensure a smooth installation.

During installation, you should first manually level the print bed and then activate the automatic leveling function. After you are satisfied with the leveling results, perform a return-to-home operation. Subsequently, use the two stepper motor bolts at the front to fix the base. Although the original factory bolts may be usable, I found that their length is slightly insufficient. When installing the pointer, first clip it onto the Z-axis screw, then gently press and fasten the coupling, and finally screw in the screws to fix it. If you wish, you can also install the base before leveling.

Each scale on the base corresponds to a rotation angle of 9 degrees, which is roughly equivalent to a travel of 0.1mm in the Z-axis direction. Although there are relevant markings on the surface of the base, the handwriting is often difficult to read after printing is completed.
