This is simple remote camera switch for timelapse photo shoot. It is designed for Ender 3 S1 Pro.
Timelapse Camera Switch
Bluetooth Camera Switch used: https://amzn.in/d/erujHoz (compatible with Android and iOS)
You just have to put it inside the Switch Mount in upside down manner to get the bigger button facing towards the button hole.
Print Setting:
Infill: 20%
Layer Height: 0.2mm
Support required in Mount.
Assembly: You need to attach the mount into the X-Axis linear rail in metallic wing in the right side. Tight the screw with nut for perfect fitting. Insert the Push Button in hole of front side of mount.
Calibrate the print head X-axis position(mine 220 works perfectly) for push the button for click photo.
Slicer Setting for Timelapse: Use print head park coordinates to click photo. Duration for pause length to click photo is 200ms. And then stop the print head at some early X-axis(in my case 219) position to release the switch button, otherwise it will take burst photos. For early stop I used extra G-Code modification as below.
Search and Replace
Search: Wait for camera (to be replaced with)
Replace: Wait for camera\nG0 X219 Y190 ; Offset for photo\nG4 P1000: Wait for photo click
(Above command will stop the print head at X-219 for 1 second to get photo clicked with stability)
For Y-Axis, it should be same as provided in timelapse script.
Sample Timelapse:
Note: After printing, please try some movements of Screw and Nut before directly attaching to mount. It will be helpful for smooth insertion.
Happy Printing :))
