Sometimes I close the door where my pull up bar is hanging. This, of course, results in the bar falling down marring up my floor. I set out to correct this and prevent further damage. I contemplated securing the bar to the ceiling with a piece of cordage.. But then I thought about “Home alone” and the loss of teeth the next time I forget. 

So the model contains TPU bumpers for the domed M6 nuts as well as replacement end caps for the bar itself. 0.2 layer height and 20% infill. No supports.

Secured the pieces with a small amount of cyano acrylate, easy enough to remove if the need arises.

The inner diameter of the bar is 22 mm. Source file included for adapting to various models.
