Abstract

My girlfriend wanted to replace the lampshade ring of the old desk lamp she inherited from her grandmother with a threaded one, but she couldn't find a suitable one anywhere. Out of desperation, she had to make one herself.

This lampshade ring is designed for lamps with an E27 interface, but I suspect that it should also be compatible with most lamps that use a 40mm thread specification.
