I got annoyed with my roller blinds banging around in the wind and didn't want to keep a pair of my kids' socks on the windowsill to stop it knocking, so I turned to my 3D printer for the solution.

A lot of the designs out there attached to the bar on the roller blind, or required you to click the bar into a holder, but I didn't want it to stop me rolling the blind all the way up and I'm too lazy to click it into place every time. So, I wanted to design something that was always there without impacting my ability to roll the blinds up and down at will.

This stopper can mount on the windowsill or on the side of the window frame if you want it to be a bit higher up. It requires a 25mm foam pad, commonly used as anti-skid pads for attaching to the underside of chair feet (the one is the photo is made by Scotch, but you can buy them on AliExpress).

I initially created it to screw into the frame, then my wife said she didn't want me to make any holes in the frame, so I made a version that fits a pair of small 3M Command picture hanging strips - that one's a bit bigger so the strip is completely hidden except for the pull tab (which you can cut off if it bothers you). You'll need to print this one with supports.
