I couldn't find a mount for a PM2 online so I designed my own. This let's me have handy access to see my phone while rowing on a Concept 2 rowing machine. The spring clip holds the phone steady under the rowing machine's vibrations.
Watching movies, listening to podcasts, or just having the phone handy are much easier with this mount.
However, I was once at a training camp in Princeton and the head coach made it clear: no headphones during an erg test, as you don't get those on the water! And so, your mileage may vary depending on what you are trying to achieve. ;)
Printing Instructions
This design is intended to be printed with PETG. This material provides enough flex in the “spring” to hold your device, and not break the mount. I have not tested it with any other materials.
The spring arm should be oriented so that it's thin walls are continuous. This requires orienting the part on one side and bridging on the other. Since the bridging section is not visible, and providing supports would significantly increase the print time, I opted to just let it sag a bit. This works in practice and the slightly sagging bridging is not visible on the installed part.
TL;DR: use the already configured 3mf file!
