I designed this valance clip for a set of blinds I’ve had for about 10 years.

After trying many clips from Amazon, I found that most didn’t fit well or looked unattractive—especially since they were all visible from the front. They were also usually single-use; the moment I tried to remove them for a thorough cleaning, they’d break.

So, I decided to design my own. This clip prints in just 15 minutes using a fast PETG profile.

While this design is specific to my blinds, if your dimensions are similar, it might work for you too. At the very least, I hope it can serve as inspiration for others facing a similar challenge.

I’m currently learning OpenSCAD and working on a customizable model for this clip. I’ll update this page once I have a working script ready.
